Your login ID and password: where they come from
When we open an account, we send three things on WhatsApp: the login link, your username and a temporary password. Laser247 forgot password: how the reset works
There is no "forgot password" email on the platform, because accounts are not tied to an email address. Resets go through your ID provider. Here is the process with us:
Write from the linked number
Send a WhatsApp message from the mobile number you registered with, and include your username.
We confirm it is you
We match the number and username. If they don't match, we will ask a few account questions instead. We never ask for an OTP.
Get a new temporary password
We send a fresh temporary password in the chat.
Change it at once
Log in and set a new password before you do anything else. Then delete the temporary one from your notes.
Lost the SIM or changed numbers? Tell us in the chat. Recovery takes longer in that case, because we need to be sure the request comes from the real owner and not from someone who has guessed your username.
Spotting fake login pages
Phishing pages copy the colours and logo of the real login screen almost perfectly. The difference is in the address bar. A few rules our team repeats daily:
- Bookmark the link we send and open it only from the bookmark.
- Ignore login links from Instagram ads, Telegram "tipster" groups or SMS messages, even if they look genuine.
- If a page asks for your UPI PIN, OTP or card number to "verify login", it is fake. The real screen asks for a username and password only.
- If you typed your password into a page you now doubt, ask us to reset it straight away.

Yes. "Amit07" and "amit07" are treated as different usernames. Copy it exactly from the message we sent.
Should I tell support my password so they can check it?
